- My name is Susan Parker, and I am one of the pastors at Wake Forest Baptist Church, which meets on the campus of Wake Forest University in Winston Salem, NC. For those of you surprised to find a female Baptist pastor, let me hasten to add that my church is not a typical Baptist church! (A member of our congregation decided that our best church motto would be: "Not your mama's Baptist church!") The old saying that where there are four Baptists there are at least five opinions applies here too...don't assume my musings are representing the congregation. They are only MY views.
